Budget (including currency): € 1700 (EUR) +/-100

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: System use will be 50% gaming (Warzone, COD, Battlefield, FPS shooters and such...) and 50% work as a digital content creator and photographer, so Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, but sometimes some small video editing in Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.

Other details: I'm upgrading from a MSI laptop (GS70 6QE - Intel Core i7-6700HQ - 16GB) because I used to travel alot between home and work. (External screen at home and screen at the office) But I will be doing this fulltime from home now. And the laptop is not performing smooth enough anymore for my personal preference.
Current screens: 2 x Asus MG278Q (Q-HD / 144Hz) I plan to keep using those screens for now. But I want the new PC to handle more of course in case I make an upgrade.

When: I want to make this purchase in the next month.

OS: Windows 10 Home

Extra: I prefer AMD processors over Intel because of the allround performance. And 32GB of ram (fast ram) just for my multitasking with Adobe programs, those can stack up very quick.

Thanks in advance for helping me out with this, if you need any more information I'd be glad to provide this.

Alternatively, you could drop the price down on a few other components, and fit in either a better CPU or GPU:

If I had to guess though, going with a faster GPU would make more sense, in which case you'd be looking at an RX 6800, 6800XT or RTX 3080.

I'd highly suggest you first wait for reviews to come out on RDNA2 GPUs though (if you do go for either of them), before you make you make your decision.

@Mateyyy Thank you for the fast reply and help! With a mix of both lists I would come up to something in the following trend. The GPU is up for discussion, but as you wrote, I will follow up the reviews of the 6800XT and maby go down that road. It would be priced the same as the one I have currently selected.
For the motherboard, for me this is the hardest choise. What is a "good" motherboard? There are so many on the market with good reviews but also negative points. Hard for someone with basic knowledge to make a decision. What are the key features of a good motherboard for someone who's main target would not be overclocking? Thanks.

Looks good.

If overclocking capabilities aren't the priority, then I guess all you're looking at is the looks and the feature set.

Looks are obviously subjective, and for the feature set I'd look at things like USB ports (rear Type-As, front Type-C support if your case has a Type-C port), LAN, onboard audio, etc.

One thing I would advise you do is get a couple 140mm intakes to mount in the front of the Meshify C, since in its stock config it isn't really particularly great in terms of cooling.

I'd look for either NF-A14, Silent Wings 3 140mm or, if you want a cheaper (but still good) option, Arctic P14.

@Mateyyy I'll be going into the motherboard options a little deeper then! Ok, thats something I want to add then, some more airflow to keep it cooler.

With all those things in mind, you've helped me out great, and I can't thank you enough for it! It's much appreciated!

Have a great day.
