Edit status update post's cancel button missing?

Browser, version and OS: win 10 chrome

 

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

1) tried to edit a reply, but decided not to and found the cancel button missing

2) i decided to type it as a new reply instead, when i press submit (the reply), the "Save" button on the editing post became "loading..." then "SaveSubmit Reply", but doesnt actually change the reply

What did you expect to happen?

a cancel button to be available

Can confirm. With the original Status Update way to cancel it to click X at top corner. But for replies, there's no way of dismissing after "Edit" has been opened.

This should be fixed when the status updates are update, hopefully later in the year. Until then though, all I can suggest is that refreshing the page will solve it.
