gtx 1060 3gb

i have found a 1060 3gb for a good deal on ebay and i was wondering if it would be able to run any vr games well enough. like minecraft vr or stuff like that.

probably not, look for a 1660 super at least if you have the money for a vr headset

No go on a 1060 3GB for anything at all.

 

Those cards suffer heavily from the low VRAM and have less stream processors than the 6GB 1060. They were a terrible product when they launched and are still today.

 

If you want to drive VR I would not go below the level of a GTX 1080 Ti or RX 5700 XT, both of which can be found used for around $350.

 

It's important that you have a very strong GPU for VR because any amount of stuttering on the headset will induce nausea and ruin the experience. Some people will get nausea even if framerate is always above 90fps
