1200 dollar 3d workstation

Go to solution Solved by GhostRoadieBL,

wasn't expecting it but I basically built the same system I run now lol

2600x will get you started for a few years until 5000 series drops in price when the next motherboard/cpu combos come out and Asus has announced the X570 bios upgrade for 5000 series.

2070 is an alright price but I'd be looking at used 2080's at the same price for better performance per dollar

700watts is a little overkill but gives you space to upgrade to RTX3000 series or AMD 6000 series whichever makes more sense when you need more gpu power.

Budget (including currency): $1,200 usd

Country: 'Merica

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Blender modeling and animation.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Gpu focused with upgrading in mind

I wanted to save up for a high end system but I can no longer stand my intel Celeron cpu and 2gb of ram so I need to upgrade. I want as much ram as possible and the best gpu possible cpu preformence is secondary as long as I'm not bottle necked.

Thanks in advance :)

The best gaming PC is the PC you like to game on, how you like to game on it
