Good M.2 for a good price ?

TonnyM

Hello everyone.

I want to buy a good M.2 for my computer since I have 2 hard drives and one SSD of 128 gb witch I use just for my windows. I am playing a lot of games , I don't do editing for vidoes etc. I am looking for one just for games to load faster, I noticed that it is very slow to play COD MW from my hdd and i want to make an upgrade.. I have a gaming pc but not a good enough SSD, what do you guys think i should buy ? I am looking for one with 1TB and maximum 100-120 pounds, I have found this, but I am not the best when it comes to the speeds of it, thank you if you take the time to read them and let me know, I will leave the links down below.

They're all pretty good NVMe SSDs, there's an improved version of the P1 available as well

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/KMkgXL/crucial-p2-1-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-ct1000p2ssd8

it's quite cheap so I recommend it. As a game storage drive, more expensive options aren't really worth it anyways.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

they are out of budget but watch the video it also compares the other drives as well and will give you a good feel for speed wise. then do some research on warranty etc in your country and customer service if anything goes wrong.

best bet would to get either a samsung 970 or a crucial p1, both decent SSDs.

the p1 is slightly slower than the samsung 970, but generally less costy.

if you have the same amount of braincells as me: (no offense)

choose p1 if you dont want to spend alot for an SSD but get decent quality.

choose 970 if you want speed and and quality but at a higher cost.

the pro variant of the 970 is ok too, just costs slightly more.
