With the colder temperatures arriving, and my location way up north I have access to some very cold dry air that I could put in front of my 360 rad (with push/pull fans).  I also have a temperature sensor on one of the plugs on the loop to measure water temperature.  While testing to see how cold I could get the loop it got all the way down to -2°C!  I got a little concerned of the coolant getting thicker and losing flow so I stopped the cold air intake.  What is the coldest safe temperature of a water loop?

Maybe I would gather around -10c to -20c if they used Propylene Glycol in the AIO loop would be ok.

(Assuming you have an AIO....)

Wouldn't going below ambient temps cause condensation to form on the pump/block and motherboard area?

D'oh!  I could have just checked the bottle.  I'm an idiot, I got very close to the listed freezing point of -3°C...   phew

What kind of pre-mix can I purchase that can get lower?

Long life engine coolant. Usually good for -40c on a 50/50 distilled water mix.

Anything rich in ethylene/propylene glycol: https://www.mayhems.net/products/mayhems-xt-1-nuke-v2-clear-concentrate-250ml

I personally wouldn't recommend engine coolant because it is more toxic and poses health/environmental risks if not handled correctly compared to PC coolants designed to be used on the desk.
