Looking for a 1440p 144hz ultrawide monitor

michaelbelgium

So I'm from europe and looking for a new monitor. Coming from a dual 1080p 60hz set up

  • 144hz
  • 3440 x 1440
  • ultrawide
  • 34"
  • vesa mount (100x100 or 75x75)
  • ~450€

It's going to be used for gaming + work (programming, webdesign ..)

I've already did some research and found these:

I really can't decide with one to pick ... does anyone know more about these monitors?

I'd go with the AOC or Gigabyte.
Realistically you're not going to notice a massive difference between them, as they likely all use similar panels.

Never heard of Iiyama, and Xiaomi is just getting into monitors, and Monoprice generally has shit stands.

I'm actually in the same boat as you.

As dizmo said, either Gigabyte or AOC. Potentially the Xiaomi.

Monoprice seems to have little to no reviews so its a gamble.

For the iiyama there are actually 2 very similar montiors. The iiyama G-Master GB3461WQSU-B1 and iiyama G-Master GB3466WQSU-B1. The 61 is an IPS Panel and the 66 a VA.

The Gigabyte looks nice and Id prefer it over the AOC, however, no seller has it currently in stock and Gigabyte Germany, who Ive called, have no idea when it will be back.

Hardware Unboxed has some very in-depth reviews about both the AOC and Xiaomi on YT. Worth a watch.

Iiyama is also an experienced Japanese monitor manufacturer so they generally know what theyre doing.

Personally, Im deciding either between the AOC or the iiyama.

If it helps; gigabyte and iiyama has freesync premium, the AOC only has normal freesync

The GB3461WQSU-B1 is flat and not curved either than the GB3466WQSU

I think i narrowed it down between gigabyte and iiyama. Cuz freesync premium

Realistically they likely all use the same panel, so the differences aren't going to be massive.
