Just don't buy the Home edition. It will prevent you from being able to change certain settings regarding privacy and data-harvesting. Personally, I only use either Enterprise or, preferably, LTSC.

how selling pc, home is more than plenty. Most users don't care about any of that, and most all gaming pcs and normal laptops are sold with win 10 home and most people don't need the extra features.

They might not care about it now, but maybe in 2+ years they'll have learned more about how to use their PC and want to change a setting that Home doesn't allow to be changed. People someone post in forums asking for help with disabling or managing Windows Update, but then they find-out that they can't use the Group Policy editor because it's not included with Home. There's no point in buying Home as it just locks someone out of possibilities in the future.

I wouldn't sell a pc without a offical key, that might come back to bite you if its not from authorized reseller.

If your selling enough keys, you can get volume pricing from microsoft its self.

So when you say official key, do you mean the 100 dollar plus one that Microsoft themselves sell?

If you're not end user of computer but build it for others, install unactivated Windows. Using unactivated Windows is against policy, but you will not use it - and next user can enter his own key to activate. Or even change system to some Linux.

But it from a authorized reseller, and I don't know a authorized that sells windows keys for much under a hunded bucks. Or setup a volume pricing deal if your moving lots of systems.

most users will never need to touch those things. And if they do, they can always upgrade to pro later on. Very few people will ever touch group policy or simmilar in windows.
