Yes, you can plug monitors into each GPU if you dont connect them via the bridge.

Also would this work with a 3080 and a qaudro rtx 4000?

I dont see why not. But why bother with the quadro at all? The 3080 is the better performing card in any way.

Is there any way to have a GeForce card for gaming and blender rendering as well as a Qaudro for CAD? I plan to use a 3090 and a qaudro rtx 5000 but if I can just run 2 moniters and plug each card into a different one I will use a 3080 and a qaudro rtx 4000. I know that GeForce cards use sli and quadros use nvlink but like I suggested above I though that mabey I could use each card on a different monitor.

This will be a compleatly new build and I plan to use a ryzen 9 3950x if I can get cheaper gpus but if I can't I'll get a 10900k. My RAM will be G.skill ripjaws v 64 GB 4000mgz. I'll be using a 1000 watt psu or higher if needed. Mobo suggestions are appreciated I would like to get a x570 board if possible.

You can use both GPUs for seperate apps. The 3090 uses NVLINK aswell. But afaik, when you enable SLI, only 1 of your cards will support display output. You can still use them both without a NVLINK bridge though.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

The 3080 is more capable than a quadro rtx 4000. You don't need it.
