While the 5600X will likely be a much faster CPU, because of the higher price the 3600 might still hold the value crown. I'd personally wait until the reiviews are out and then decide if the extra $ for the 5600X is worth it for me.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Normally i'd say that aswell. But the launch is literally half a week away. In this case i'd HIGHLY recommend to wait then then decide.

its weird because i live in the uk and the said it would be 300 us so that is 230 pounds but they are selling it for 280 pounds

Sadly that's normal. In Germany it will also be 299€, even with 1€ being worth about $1.18. If it would be a fair price it would be 253,01€ when it launches for 299$ in the US.
