HELP, new pc crashing with old gpu.

I made a PC for a friend as a birthday present yesterday but it went crashing today all the time. Monitor showing weird colours and pc restarting the whole time. Also windows going to their own troubleshoot options (the one blue screen with options and low resolution). We used his old GPU, hard drives and some sata cables from his old pc because i couldnt buy a new GPU right now but he would have the option to buy a better one later.

 

Specs:

Aorus elite b550

Ryzen 5 3500

nvme ssd 500gb kingstone A2000(new), 125 gb ssd (old), 500 gb and 1tb hdd.

Ram: Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8GB 3200

PSU: Gigabyte GP-P750GM 750W

GPU: GTX 760

 

I made some pc's (for friends mostly) before his one so I have a little bit experience with that. Never have I seen this before. Every little help would be appreciated.

I would start with reseating the video card, while it is out, make sure there is no dust or grime in the PCIE slot itself. 

Did it work for a time and then start having problems or did it have problems immediately? 

Daily driver (looking to upgrade mobo and cpu spring of 2021)   --- The only time I sort by price from high to low is when I am shopping for CPU's and GPU's (looking for a cheap i7-7700k though)

Have you reseated the video card?

When you do so, also disconnect the power to the GPU and check for bent or miss-aligned pins.
