"high tier office" motherboard vs same price b series motherboard

Why people don't generally recommend "high tier office" motherboards?
is that because a b-series "gaming" motherboards at this price point has better performance than "high tier office" motherboards? that make these range motherboards a waste of money?

"office" motherboards IMO

  • Asus X570 prime                                 Asus TUF GAMING B550-PLUS
  • MSI X570 A pro                                   MSI B550 MAG TOMAHAWK
  • Gigabyte x570 UD        vs                   Gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO AC
  • Asrock X570 pro                                 Asrock B550 STEEL LEGEND

Calling them high tier office boards does not make sense.

AMD doesn't have chipset geared towards business / office.

A is for low end non overclock.

B is for mid-end + overclock.

X is for high end + overclock.

The difference between cheap and expensive are build quality and features.

Performance is relatively the same between the same motherboard class.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

the only real difference between B550 and X570 is the IO the Chipset offers, more or less. and in general has pretty poor connectivity for the price they command (ignoring chipset IO)

because the "high tier office boards" you listed arent really high end. those are low end x570 board, one of which has a garbage VRM setup.

and unless you need the chipset IO that x570 offers, there is no real reason to go for it.
