Java Account Migration: Good or bad?

Ever since Mojang uploaded the video, I've been kind of worried. I've read the details and the account migration is mandatory.

If you don't migrate, you won't be able to continue playing this game. I'm sure that just like everyone else in this forum has played or searched for this game. What do you think about it?
