When can we expect Ryzen 5000 benchmark/reviews?

Mgbox

This question isn't meant to sound impatient, just curious.
Are reviewers allowed to confirm/announce when we can expect them? Or do we just have to assume it's Nov 5th, and if it comes early, bonus.

I'm long overdue for a rebuild. I'm waiting for Ryzen 5000 series. Trying to decide between 5600X and 5800X, both will be huge upgrades, it really just comes down to price (in Canadian Dollars), availability and performance. Availability will likely be the strongest factor but it's helpful to know performance/price so there's no second guessing if only one or the other is in stock.

What press event? Is there a date set for that?
I thought the event already happened Oct 8th, and pointed to Nov 5 being the launch/release. Am I wrong in that assumption?

That was only for the CPUs, the GPU event is the 28th.

This is the CPU subforum, I am talking about CPUs, not GPUs.

oh, whoops... sorry. In that respect, then yes.. Nov 5th is when you can expect to see benchmarks and hard, concrete reviews.
