Hey forum!

I recently bought a brand new PC and build it. The new parts are very new compared to the old ones from my recent pc build. In my new PC, the only thing that i still need to replace is the GPU.

I am waiting for the new Geforce 3080 to arrive and meanwhile i just plugged in the old GPU from my previous PC. This GPU is a Nvidia Geforce 1660 OC

New PC specs:

1: ASUS ROG Strix 1000w PSU

2: Kingston A2000 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD

3: HyperX Fury DDR4 3200MHz 32GB

4: NZXT Kraken X73 CPU Cooler

5: Intel Core I9-9900K processor

6: AORUS Z390 PRO Gaming Motherboard

and 7: Nvidia Geforce 1660 OC

Could this be the reason why my PC keeps freezing? To plug in my old GPU (Nvidia Geforce 1660 OC) with the other much newer parts?

I can start the PC and run it for some time, but when i start an application like call of duty or something, the pc just freezes till i hold the shutdown button. The whole monitor just freezes and my discord also stops at the same time.

not able to completely pinpoint a problem, but check drivers, it could also be a RAM issue, if you have 2 or more sticks of ram, try using just one of the sticks, if that doesnt work try using just the other stick

Did you mount your cpu cooler correctly?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
