Failed to oc pc won't boot can't get into bios. Is there anything that can be done? I was working on updating my old pc to give to my sister.

Currently the voltage is set to Auto since it would not let me change the value and the multiplier is set to 21.5 (or 4.3)

I replaced the stock cooler with an amd wraith cooler.

I don't exactly know what the motherboard is but its a gigabyte.

you can get the manual on their website.

Do you have the full name, normally there is the chipset name in there aswell.

Firstly, don't overclock using default voltage. Thats always a recipe for a bad time. If the mobo doesn't let you manually change the voltage, don't expect to be able to OC on that board as that is an extremely basic feature for all non-oem style mobo's. If you can't adjust it, assume you can't OC on that board.

Secondly, don't overclock unless you know exactly what your doing, knowing the mobo your using is pretty much step 2, step 1 being what CPU do I have.... After those two steps, lots, and lots of googleing, youtube video watching, forum post reading, and then start messing with BIOS settings.

Not trying to be rude or downplay overclocking - I have overclocked PC's for the last 15 years and its a fantastic hobby that I enjoy and encourage others to do. But you have to go about it correctly and smartly :)

And yes, reset CMOS is going to get you back up and running. Have to figure that out, jump the headers, and you should be good.
