Can I reuse a iphone 6S power adapter for the iphone 12 pro

I just ordered my wife a iphone 12 Pro as a gift. It hasn't arrived yet, but I now notice that it does not come with a charger. Since it still uses the lightning cable connector. Can she user her iphone 6S charger or do we actually need to get a new charger.

That's precisely what Apple is expecting by not including a new one. Should work fine.

As mentioned before, you also need a USB A to Lighting cable. If you still have that from the old phone, then you're good to go.

Would look at getting a fast charging wall charger though makes things a lot quicker

Yup, that's a good idea.
Tho I'm against using fast chargers regularly. If I have the time, I might aswell charge slower and keep the battery healthy. Not sure if it actually makes much of a difference, but for me it doesn't make a difference.

Yes, the cable is usb c to lighting, which doesn't fit the old adapter, but the old 6S adapter cable terminates in a lightning cable, so it would still work?

Yes, she has one at work with fast charging and I got the USB-C one in case she upgrade her phone.

Slow charging overnight should be ok at home.
