Theres more to a monitor than just ppi.

Read the below thread.

But between a 22" and 24" ..get a 24" . the average size of a monitor nowadays is 27", 22" is just tiny. Ofc im a bit biased in that sense, ive been using a 42" for over a decade now.

27" 1440p.

1080P is awful for everything IMO apart from gaming-only if all you're after is framerate, not enough space.

Na, 14" 1080p 100% scaling and 1440p 25" 100% scaling, anything else is a waste of space, not even mentioning all the scaling issues with 125%

Though to answer ops question,  if you really need screen real estate, consider 1440p on 25" and up; and i wouldn't go lower than 1080p on 24".

22" is just tiny for a standalone monitor, even if it has higher ppi. I mean, you will get on both the same amount of content, but then you might as well go with the bigger one. 27" 1080p is a nogo
