Headphones!

After 2 years of the Hyperx stinger core, there time is almost up. Lately, Ive been thinking of getting a good quality pair of headphoness. They must be wireless, comfortable, not gaming brand like razer (want something like senneheiser, bose etc.), under $350 (Australian Dollars), not have mic (buying it separately) and finally MUST HAVE GOOD AUIDO. Also could anyone tell me what Audiophile is as when i search headphone brands that are good at audio, the word audiophile keep coming up.

Do they need to be wireless. Some wireless options that has low latency and really good sound quality is pretty expensive compared to wired headphones.

Audiophile grade headphones for example pretty much means headphones with great audio quality for "audiophiles" People that love audio. I wouldn't say I'm an audiophile but a wannabe one.

@Tigerleonit dosent have to be like the greatest but something "good", note anything better than some $40 headset that i have rn, will be probs good to me as i have never experienced "good quality". For the wireless, its A NEED, soz....

I've heard good things about the sony WH1000XM3. These are bluetooth and are supposed to be really good. You can use them for your phone as well if you want to. I don't know many wireless headphones except for some few gaming headsets that aren't anything special.

EDIT: I just remembered. The HyperX cloud flight. They are pretty good for being wireless gaming headset. The mic is detachable btw. But I've seen reviews from audiophiles that actually like them.

I've never seen the Sennheiser RS 175 been reviewed before so you could look into those as well.

My vote goes for the hyperX Flight or Flight S.

Also the CoolerMaster MH670 wireless are decent. Just don't go Razer, Corsair or Logitech - they sound bad, even the pricies Corsair sound like $30 headphones.

Avoid Bluetooth for gaming on pc. Honestly you way better off getting a gaming headset than something like a xm3 for gaming

@rice guru I tried a pair of senneheiser headphones in my local jb hi fi and found it has way better audio, comfort, but the price is around $500 aud. (jb hi fi like best buy i think)

Yes generally they are better but for Ging things like imaging and latency is very important and Bluetooth solutions simply don't provide in that respect. If you want the best experience and sound you wanna go wired not wireless

@rice guruIk wired is better i fucking hate my cable, its one of the main reason i wanted to upgrade, also if you cant find one with bluetooth could you try 2,4ghz usb NON GAMING HEADSET,

Still bluetooth. But my guess is that the sound quality is going to be great because 1. It is sennheiser and 2. Expenisve. Doesn't mean it has to be good but I trust sennheiser.

If you can bump the budget up a bit. Look out for the Audeze Penrose . It's is a gaming headset but made by Audeze. They have made the Mobius which I really like the Penrose is supported to be a Mobius but 2.4 GHz and with less gimmicks.

What's wrong with a "gaming headset" if it actually sounds good (compared to other headphones in the same or higher price range)?
