3080 strix

Looking to grab one but am a little out of the loop on a few things.

1. Does the 3080 strix have any of the problems that popped up recently when it comes to hardware faults?

2. Will a Corsair RM750x gold be able to power the thing without issue? I'm running an i5 8600k and 16gig ram.

Haven't heard of any, though to be fair I haven't extensively looked into the Strix either.

Yeah I doubt it, I'd just throw a pre order down and wait until whatever wave it comes in rolls up.

i am driving mine with a RM850, so might be hard to say, have had no issues..

 

run it in GAME mode.. theres an oc - game and silent. 

 

Game gives me 2130ish boost but at a full timespy the avg is 2080mhz have not tried oc or the play with + mhz sliders and powerlimit (where it goes to 120)

 

at silent it averages at 1980ish mhz. it is near silent, cannot hear any coilwhine, but that is with my head at the front of a closed case, with 3 140mm running at 40% (Noctuas)
