Hi guys, I just installed a new AIO cooler from Corsair and when I go to boot up the Pc everything turns on except the power led on the case, the monitor does not display, and peripherals do not aswell. All of the case fans and and cooler fans turn on as well as the RAM.

what should I do??? I have had this issue before when doing something to my pc. My pc is 3 weeks old .

This is confusing. How does everything work except some less and then there is also all this other stuff that doesn’t work.  I can’t even tell what is up with your system from this description.

best I can get is monitor and (some?) peripherals aren’t working.

RGB isn’t really part of system functionality.  It’s an afterthought thing that doesn’t do much.  It is sometimes useful if it happens to get power from somewhere else.

What needs to be known:

-what system is it? Is it a prebuilt? In which case we need the model of the machine.  If it is whitebox (home assembled) we need to know the model of each part used.

-What is not functioning? Apparently the monitor is not displaying.  There appears to be some peripheral issues. That’s all I can really tell.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Cooler: Corsair water cooler rgb

hard drive: seagate barracuda 2tb

mobo: ASrock b365 pro 4.
PSU: Corsair 650 w modular power supply.

Cool.  That helps.  The model and age of the PSU may also turn out to be important.

I am given to understand you started to have functionality problems after installing an AIO cooler.  This shouldn’t affect systems, which makes me suspect you may have jostled something when you did the install.  Perhaps check your cable connections and reseat things? Re: fans and RGB. Did you move any fan connections to make room for the AIO connections? RGB sometimes has compatibility problems but I don’t really know how that all works. A rgb compatibility problem shouldn’t affect monitor functionality though.

the corsair water cooler, does it have an RGB line in or an internal controller on the pump which plugs into the motherboard?

I would remove the cooler and check the CPU seating in the socket. possible there is too much mounting pressure and a pin is no longer touching.

power LED should just be a pair of pins on the motherboard so no reason for that not to work unless there is something else wrong or it's in the wrong pins

I have seen this when a 12v source (like RGB header from a pump) is pushing power back into the board and all the LEDs and fans kick on but the system isn't actually on it's just being supplied power. to diagnose you basically have the psu on and unplug/replug each fan, RGB strip/header and see which one gets the fans to stop spinning. that's your bad connection causing everything else to turn on.

the next step is really just start pulling everything one at a time and see when it starts booting. I would start with removing all fan connectors, then front IO, graphics card, single stick of ram, then swap, really just a matter of pulling parts and plugging back in. I would start with the 24pin as it sounds like your board is getting 12v and nothing else

So, with only the CPU, single stick of RAM, and operating system hard drive you still can't get the system to boot? Is that correct?

It does not boot!

Does it post? As in, can you get into the BIOS?

If you CANNOT, and you are not getting any display output, then you need to start swapping components to find what's not working.

Motherboard, CPU (with onboard graphics), one RAM stick, hard drive, and power supply is the minimum viable hardware needed to post and boot. You don't need any case fans plugged in for this troubleshooting. If you cannot get that to happen with the hardware you have then one of those components is not working. You'll need to start replacing them one by one to find where the issue is.

Could the issue be a broken cpu? Or would that not be realistic

Make sure you quote people you're replying to so they know you responded.

It could be an issue with any of these components. You can unplug the hard drive since we're just trying to get the computer to post and get into the BIOS.

Motherboard

CPU

RAM stick

Power supply

Since you started having issue after installing the AIO, start by carefully removing the CPU from the socket and inspecting the CPU and socket pins for damage.
