I found a gtx 1080 ti on one of the online marketplaces for $130+7ship Is this something I should go for? The site has payment protection and shipping purchase protection. Want some outside opinions.

That seems a bit too fishy for me. Can you post pictures of the GPU by chance?

-snip-

That seems pretty legit then, still a bit suspicious of the price but if you get buyer protection and whatnot then I would say go for it. Could be someone just really wanted to get rid of a card.

I want to build my first gaming pc so I've been going through and this card caught my eyes. I wanted to ask for some outside opinion before I might buy it.

It'll be my first part if I buy it.

I was half expecting some janky card with VGA ports all over the place and a shoddy cooler but that seems legit so I'd say go for it. Not sure if anyone else will chime in though but always glad to hear others opinions too.

I can confirm that the images belong to the seller, they weren't ripped from a classifieds site or eBay as far as I can tell.

As others have said, use a PayPal with buyer protection and pay the associated fees. Using Venmo or PayPal Friends and Family would be incredibly risky.
