I have a Rosewill PSU that's 750w. It's not modular at all. This is my first pc build. I was plugging the cables from my psu and my cpu power cable isnt long enough. So I thought I'd get some extensions and I got some formulamod extensions. But I read that extensions might not give enough power to my pc that it needs. Also they might melt. Do you think I'll be fine with the extension cables or try to get a new semi modular psu?

Every single cable has some electrical resistance (unless it has super conductive properties - please publish a paper if you discovered some material with those properties at ambient temperatures, you will be awared with a Nobel Prize). That means they will heat up. There are power limits for cables of specific diametres. As long as the diamtre is big enough and you don't increse cable length by too much (and no, another 50-100cm will not be an issue here) you'll be good. If your PSU is maxed out to the last bit, this could be a tipping point but then you shouldn't be using the PSU in the first place. Please refer to the PSU Tier List to see wether your PSU is any good. If it is not, replace it!

Get some extensions from cable mod, but only get the cables that need to get extended cuz cable mod = expensive.

They already bought extensions from another maker. There's photos of them in the OP.

Your CPU power cable isn't long enough to reach? What case do you have?

What model Rosewill PSU do you have and what is the length of the CPU power cable from the power supply?

How long would a CPU power cable need to be to reach (use a piece of string to measure it out)

What are the specs of the system you're using it with?

If you want to use custom cables (not extensions) for the CPU power connector then you would want a fully modular power supply not semi modular. Typically on most semi modular power supplies the motherboard 24pin and CPU power connector is fixed. (Some semi modular power supplies have additional modular CPU power cables that could be replaced, but not all)... If you're buying a power supply with the intent of buying custom cables you may as well go fully modular.
