Oneplus nord or poco x3 nfc?

So looking to buy new budget phone and can't decide which one of those 2 would be better option, is there anyone who has them(previous versions) (not both, but like nord or x3) and can give some experience like older oneplus/poco update rate, etc.? 

 

On paper they look very good, the nord is more expensive tho, all videos on YouTube say both are good for their price). 

 

I don't really care about camera quality, or how good display looks, mostly I care battery life, and overall longevity of device. 

 

I know about ads in poco, but in my country haven't heard anything about xiaomi putting ads in miui.

The other major differences are:

• The X3 uses the SD732G chipset, basically a very slightly overclocked SD730G
• The Nord uses the SD765G chipset, with better performance and 5G capability
• The X3 has an aluminium frame. The Nord's frame is plastic. Both have a plastic back
• The X3 is significantly thicker than the Nord
• The Nord has an under-screen fingerprint, while the X3's power button doubles as the FP reader
• The X3 has expandable storage, headphone jack, and stereo speakers. The Nord has none of these
• The Nord's main camera has OIS and is capable of recording 4k60. The X3 does not. Neither of them have optical zoom of telephoto
• The Nord has a better front camera setup, at the cost of blocking more of the screen with more annoying positioning
• The X3 is IP53 rated. The Nord has no ingress protection rating

For how long will each phone receive updates? I dont know and dont care. Custom roms are available for both.

 

Remember to pick based on your personal preferences, because you are the one who will be using the thing at the end of the day.

You can disable the ads by turning off recommendations in each app settings.
