AIO Tubes position (up or down)

Greetings,

Today I have my front 240 mm AIO with the tubes down like this (as gamers Nexus sugest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbGomv195sk) with only push fans:

But now I have to install push and pull fans in order to improve temps, the only way to do this would be to put the tubes up like this:

On the long run could it be harmful to the AIO?

Thanks.

So your 1st statement is wrong...

Gamers Nexus did NOT state you have to have the tubes down... The point they were making in there video is that as long as the pump is below the tubes, you're fine. The issue he was pointing out was if the pump was ABOVE the tubes.

Either configuration shown is 100% fine.

In the long run it will result in shorter AIO pump lifespan at worst, and noise level being higher at best, as the Gamers Nexus video said.

All in all, you can only fit it the one way... so that's how it has to go, right? lol

Unless you're getting insane pump noise or seeing a notable increase (which you should see a DECREASE from going to push/pull) in CPU temps at idle and load, which would indicate the pump has air in it, I wouldn't really worry about it too much.

Alright, my case only allow me to have the pump less than 2cm below the rad. Is it ok?

True, is literally the only way, I'm stuck with that for a few months till I change the case.

Most optimal would be to have the tubes at the bottom. But having them at the top will be just fine. I would advise against pinching the tubes at all.

Ps

Push pull on a thin aio like a corsair aio is pointless. Mixing fans doesn't help either.  You might be a able to gain 3c if your lucky.
