You'll need to tell us what laptop and what console you have. But the answer is most likely no.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

Not without opening the laptop, removing the keyboard, hoping it's a brainless matrix and doesn't output any protocol you'd have to decode, then map the matrix, wire it to a Pro Micro or Teensy, set up a QMK config, figure out a case, etc etc etc

Just get a USB keyboard.

Quote me to see my reply!

Just buy a cheap wireless USB keyboard off amazon or something, and use that (plug it into the front of the PS4). I highly doubt you can use the one form your laptop.

Even if you remove the keyboard, you will need a keyboard to usb adapter that is more expensive than the keyboard, I have one, but the missing part was about 25$ at best.

Now I feel the need to search again :D

Nope. Laptop keyboards are annoying in the fact that they often use proprietary pin outs for the ribbon cable. And honestly laptop keyboards do not have much in terms of structural rigidity by themselves. Without being mounted to a laptop chassis, it's just going to flex and provide a mushy typing and gaming experience. You can get a pretty decent mechanical keyboard (if you're into that) for around 40 bucks CAD (less in Freedom bucks) so not worth the hassle in any situation.
