If you can't afford a $500-550 CPU, don't get it. People have to stop making this situation out to be anti-consumer or a "bad practice". The 10900K - 10700K were at the same price points at launch, if not more expensive. AMD for the first time has performance dominance over Intel, and as much as people may hate it, that dominance commands a price. It's business, so get used to it, and they owe you nothing. Is it necessarily fair for Nvidia to charge $800 for a GPU that may struggle to run games in 2 years given the 10GB limit? Maybe not. But guess what, Nvidia has the leverage right now.

 

Stop thinking that you're a rebel or you're pro-consumer because you say "there not getting $500 out of me". Nobody cares. I will gladly pay that price for a 12 core that has a lead over the 10900K.

You already have one of the best single-core performance AMD CPUs (XTs were the only ones that beat it) and so your recommendation is that everyone wait for another year. That is effectively what you just said in your two posts. Just keep in mind that not everyone is on Zen 2 8-core right now, when you next recommend things.

You guys that already in line for Zen 3 are absolutely insane! Microcenter should start charging you rent for staying outside of the store for so long!
