is this a gaming PC? If so, start with 2x8GB. If you need 32GB, 2x16 will be able to run at higher speeds on most boards, compared to 4x8

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I say 2x16gb, as 4x8 can be a little tricky.

I thought we had a hard fast rule to go 2xBIG vs 4xSMALL on RAM, period for all time and even on Sunday?
