Budget (including currency): For cpu, around max 200 AUD

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Highly Modded Minecraft, Programming, Video recording

I'm planning to build a pc and want to know the difference of these cpus

Ryzen 3 3100 which is $160

Ryzen 3 3200G which is +$9 from 3100

Ryzen 3 3300x which is +$35 from 3100

Ryzen 5 1600 AF which is same as 3200G

People have been telling me to get the 3100 instead of the 3300x but its only 35 dollars different

What about the Ryzen 3200G which is close to the 3100

The Ryzen 5 3600 is close to $300 so i will upgrade to it later

Out of these I would go for 1600 af, but those are very hard to find in stock these days. If you can find it, go for it. If not jut go for 3100 or 3300x. Don't even consider 3200g.

The 1600af has a slower clock speed, are there going to be any major dfferences compared to the 3300x. Is the graphics in 3200g bad?

6 cores versus 4, 1600 af is basically a 2600. Are you using dedicated gpu or not? All those cpu's except 3200g don't have integrated graphics.

if i get a cpu with integrated graphics, i can save some money on upgrading but i'm not sure if its a good choice

If you are going that route 3200  is only viable option out of those, but I would not even be considering it.

if you're gaming as well and want a good experience, go for a dedicated gpu.

integrated gpus are for simpler games, low details and low fps
