I think I see what the OP means. He doesn't want to have to alt+tab or hit the win key to move his mouse from the game to the chat screen.

Run your game in borderless windowed mode? though you will still have to do something like hit escape to bring up the mouse cursor to move to the next screen, but you shouldn't have to alt tab. As for music, most keyboards have a media controller on it, that might be what worth looking into if you haven't already.

As for software that locks mouse A to screen A and mouse B to screen B, I don't know of one, but I'm sure some quick googling will let you know if there is or not.

Can you run your game on full screen window mode?  That way you don't completely miss out on the game.

i have tried that i play warzone and for some reason when i play on window borderless it takes up more power from my gpu when im on full screen it goes down and doesn't take that much power

Interesting, my browser isn't detecting anything, mind you Im out in my gym atm, so this isn't' my main system. Just some old beater laptop. But is using a pretty recent version of Edge Chromium though I notice there is an update for the browser. Maybe I should do that and recheck:

Edge Chromium. Latest build. Very interesting. Just checked this laptops windows version and it's a little behind at 1909. But everything else seems to be updated. I'll give it a try later on my macbook and desktop when I'm done my workout.

Same result when I use Google Chrome on this laptop. Weird.

Looks like Safari on my macbook threw the warning up. Sorry mate. Guess you should try another site to be safe. I probably disabled something on that laptop when I used to cryptomine. Almost all the mining software is usually flagged.

This solution is probably overkill, but you could run a VM with a lightweight Linux distro (assign it to, say, only one or two cores of your CPU, so that it's not resource intensive) for the chat and music, then assign one mouse to the VM and one to the main OS.

I got the link from scrolling quickly through this thread though, might be something else there you can use that isn't a sketchy... or the issue is they aren't using proper certs to sign their software and the browsers are taking a better safe than sorry approach:

Not to completely hijack the thread, but I found out what my issue was, and it was self inflicted. I didn't have safe browsing set to enhanced on my Google Chrome. Once enabled bam, red warning screen. Thanks @TempestCatto and @The_russian for bringing this to my attention and potentially saving the OP from downloading a potential malware / virus.

Funny though Edge Chromium even with Defender Smart Screen enabled did not pick it up. Looks like I'm going back to Chrome.

Main issue I see is that you are asking for two cursors, and thats not something easy to do. Forcing activation to stay on windows is easier, that and global hotkeys for music and such.
