Verify game files, maybe you have a frame rate cap for some reason that’s config level so try deleting the config file which should be in the app data folder if you go back one and go to Local then FortniteGame.

Try disabling windows game bar and DVR, it can use a lot of CPU resources while it tries to record your gameplay and try DX12.

One weird fix that might work is downgrading your graphics drivers, a lot of people are having issues since they added raytracing and reflex.

Cables don’t even matter if it’s plugged into the graphics card.

Are you getting low frame rates or seeing low framerates?
Check the in game counter, I’ve had issues with HDMI cables causing stuttering (in that case it actually affected the host device but it was an Android TV and I’m not sure if this is applicable.)

wrong... Display Port cables that come with monitors are usually bottom barrel quality and can cause lots of issues.

Try using a different Display Port cable and see.

That makes sense for your graphics card, so you’re just getting stutters?

You’re definitely using more than 1% of your graphics card because you would be getting 2FPS if you were and you’re obviously not using integrated graphics.

Try reinstalling your graphics drivers and clearing the CMOS on your board, maybe you changed a setting ?

I wouldn’t be surprised. He should try with a different monitor since this one is new he should have a spare unless he sold it.

You won’t get the full refresh rate but it should be fine for testing.

Definitely a ram or CPU issue then, I have never gotten GPU related stutters and I’ve owned like 5 graphics cards.
