PC launching in DVI

So every time I go to launch my computer it starts up the display as a DVI instead of HDMI. then after it passes the bios option screen the screen turns black for anywhere between 5 to 30 seconds changing the display to HDMI. I don't understand sense my GPU (RX 5600xt) doesn't even support DVI nor does my monitor. If someone knows a way how I can get my computer to launch in HDMI so that I don't have to wait half a minute as it tries to change the screen to HDMI, I would be very grateful.

have you tried setting your display input to HDMI instead of Auto?

how do you know its on DVI if you don't have DVI monitor?

My monitor says it at top right. Says DVI 1080p then after that 30seconds it changes to HDMI 1080p

I do not have an option in the settings, or at least I could not find one.

Probably would help if I said that this technically is a Tv not Monitor.

Problem is in the monitor. You should select HDMI as the default input.

Ye if only there was an option in the Tv to set that to default. Ive looked for one but nothing. It only started doing this when windows updated.
