Must have Programs?

OK as Stated last night, I'm planning on installing Windows 10 to a USB HDD so I can use DAZ3D. As I currently only have Linux Installed on my system, I am mainly concerned with making Windows far more Secured then it is by default. Namely which Antivirus  and Firewall do I need if they are not already built in.

 

Now I haven't used Windows since 2014/2015 and that was Number 8... One thing I always found to be a real PITA is having to D/L Software from different place instead of having one Application to do all of this like Linux always has.

Windows includes both of these. If you're behind a router with a firewall, the local one typically isn't all that necessary either.

use pihole ad blocker and avoid microsoft office/outlook if you can.

Comodo Firewall is nice and you can also get warnings for outgoing connections, not just incoming.

Well I have yet to read anything Good about the Windows App Store...

Netflix, WhatsApp, YourPhone, Skype (last one has also classic alternative but still) and few more tools.
