USB bluetooth adapter

GeneralGusher

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows any good, reliable bluetooth adapters for under 15 or 16 dollars? I want to use it so I can connect my headphones, keyboard and mouse all at the same time.

This would be the only USB Bluetooth adapter I would trust. https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-USB-BT500-Bluetooth-Backward-Compatible/dp/B08DFBNG7F/ref=pd_sbs_147_7?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B08DFBNG7F&pd_rd_r=d21bac4d-6040-4e73-96b1-704858f72ff0&pd_rd_w=K5kkf&pd_rd_wg=AUxmW&pf_rd_p=b65ee94e-1282-43fc-a8b1-8bf931f6dfab&pf_rd_r=QY5AVZ33XQ6RDBBVWEHV&psc=1&refRID=QY5AVZ33XQ6RDBBVWEHV

All of the other off brand ones, I wouldn't even bother risking it.

I've got this one myself, and haven't had any issues with it thus far: https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Bluetooth-Receiver-Controllers-UB400/dp/B07V1SZCY6/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2AJ9XA298X5XA&dchild=1&keywords=usb+bluetooth+adapter&qid=1601763971&sprefix=usb+blue%2Caps%2C158&sr=8-3

From my experience, TP-Link is a pretty reliable brand. Also a good $5 under your requested price which is a plus. No drivers required either. Just plug and play.

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

There are plenty of other reliable brands out there that I wouldn't necessarily classify as "off brand". The one you've recommended honestly seems way overpriced in my opinion.

I bought this on Amazon mostly because I was hoping it would actually say "Lovin Product", which it doesn't. Works great out of the box though on Windows and Linux with my Dualshock 4 and Xbox One controllers.

Can't say I'd trust it to handle that many connections, AFAIK pretty sure you're going to need at least a couple adapters since those wireless headsets already can't handle two audio streams of decent quality and always absolutely butcher microphone quality to provide decent bandwidth for the headphones.

Yeah definitely. I use my bluetooth soundbar and two xbox controllers with it simultaneously all the time.

hey I just got the adapter, and I keep hearing this super loud crackling noise when my headphones are paired with it. I tried the headphones on another pc and they were perfectly fine. Do you have any idea on how to fix this?

I've never had that problem myself so I don't know... It works fine with my headphones. Maybe you were unlucky and got a bad one? Not really sure. Maybe try a different USB port? Is it plugged into USB 2.0 or 3.0?
