MIC problem

Hi. there is a problem with my mic its when I'm playing games like fortnite etc. my mic sounds like its a mile away from me and its very laggy i know thisbecause my friends have echoey mics and i can hear my voice through it and its very laggy even tho my internet is good does not happen on discord at all

Go into Device manager/Sound. Right click on your mic and uninstall. Restart your computer. See Windows reinstall it and try using the mic again. See what happens.

hi first of all what kind of microphone do you have 

1-USB

2-XLR

If XLR What capture card and mixer (if using one)

Second Model Of the mic and everything u are using with it 

 

im not an expert on audiophile and all of that but i really suggest talking with @rice guru @The Flying Sloth and they Can tell you better than me because my experience is in live audio like concerts and that kind of enviorement

If you can hear yourself through your friend's mics that's an issue on their end, general tip though, if it sounds like you're too far away from your mic get closer.
