Any chance you are willing to build your own computer? It is not as hard as it seems and has many benefits over a prebuilt (including better quality components and often better bang for your buck).

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

I think the Intel Tuning protection thing is in case the CPU is damaged from overclocking.

Should be covered by the store since they provide both the warranty and the overclock of the CPU...

True, very true.

Maybe it’s in case he tries to overclock further than what they do? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t see why they’re charging him $19 to protect his “dream system” in transit.

Don’t most PC sellers replace or repair anything damaged in transit for free?

I went with water cooling for the CPU and got as many fans as i could for the GPU to make sure that it stays as cool as possible.

Honestly though I don’t think even normal unpaid shipping would result in any problems as long as they don’t ship it like idiots with no protection.

I bought a prebuilt from IBuyPower for my last PC and they just packed it in foam and in a tight box and it arrived in flawless condition.

You shouldn’t have to pay for it though.

Well more fans doesn’t always mean lower temps. Linus and Jay actually did a video where they found at a certain point adding more fans did nothing.

I just built my first PC about 9 months ago and trust me: It wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be.

The manuals basically give you step-by-step instructions on everything.

For me the hardest part was getting things plugged in without leaving a giant rat’s nest of cables.

The difficulty would not change from an expensive system like yours compared to a basic system. That’s not including a custom loop though. I have no experience with custom loops, but from what I have heard the only reason to go with one is for looks or the hobby of them. Cooling and noise isn’t too different from a good aio or air cooler.

As long as you do your research, you can definitely build your own system. Remember, the forum is always here if you need help with anything. If you decide to move forward with building your own, we can help with a parts list.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

If you want to build one, here is a part list that i made:

The 10850K is a 10900K,just 100MHz slower.

You can overclock this bad boy.
