Hi all,

Been having this issue of my pump paddling air and my CPU overheating. Tried several different AiO. Contacted Coolermaster, they said the upcoming case won't have the issue of the pump being higher than the radiator as the case will have a top mounted slot for the radiator.

Only idea I found that worked: have the case at a 30% tilt, which makes a huge (40C+) difference. Bit impractical though 😕

Aside from going back to an air cooler or a case swap, any ideas?

System is less than 1y old, this is a design flaw, company that sold it to me won't take it back.

It would be ideal when your Pump is the lowest part of the loop. This way it cannot suck air. For your particular case i don't see any way to mount the rad differently. You'd have to buy a new case with ideally a top mount for your rad or just go for a decent air cooler.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Your pump is the highest part of the loop so all the air collects there. The rad needs to be the highest part. If you cannot make the rad the highest part get an air cooler. Cd drive cage can be adapted to fit a 120mm rad. But if this is a 240 then caseswap time or aircooler.
