Fallout 4 how to remove FPS cap Guide

First of all check your video quality because you will have to redo all of this to be able to change it after we are done. This includes the FOV,etc.

Now head to C:\Users\(username)\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4Prefs

Now find "iPresentInterval=1" and change the 1 into an 0

Beware that doing this might cause the lockpicking minigames and closed space levels to accelerate.

Note that this can be fixed via Fallout 4 Un-official patch on Nexus mods

Haha I did this some time ago and as soon as I got into a police station I got one shot by a laserturret, which firerate was aso affected by the unlocked FPS :D A turret @300FPS does a whole lot of dmg, lol
