Viruses oh Viruses

So my uncles PC had over 100 viruses and malware on it and i got it all removed except for two things. Google Chrome automatically goes to "Nation Zoom" and Internet Explorer is locked out of accessing the internet. I couldnt find a way to fix either of these so any ideas would be great.

Windows XP is the virus, but seriously he should upgrade if he's still running xp. You can get used E7500s on ebay for $15. Anyway you'll likely have to reinstall XP, the virus probably overwrote system files.

Try using adwcleaner. If it fails the best thing to do is to re-install Windows.
