Question is, what will be the chances ill receive a 3000 ready?

It's highly likely. I haven't had a board in hand that wasn't Ryzen 3000 ready in.. Well basically since a month after Ryzen 3000 launched.

When you have the motherboard box in hand, check for this image on the front of it:

amd%20ryzen%203000%20desktop%20ready.png

if it has that, you're all good :)

P.S. the 'Gen2' in that title refers to the USB type, not the B450 type.

So read it as "AM4 - DDR4 - Displayport - HDMI - M.2 - USB 3.1 Gen 2 [which has since been renamed to USB 3.2 Gen 2 and does 10Gb/s] - B450

Now am screwed officially, i ordered this mobo yesterday and currently its shipped, when i got notified of that, i read that its gen2... and i dont have an old amd cpu to update it. Question is, what will be the chances ill receive a 3000 ready?

pretty high honestly, but if it's not you should be able to return it fine

might I suggest the B450 A-PRO or Gaming Plus max? if you didn't get this board on a big sale, that is.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
