Atari/Commodore MS-DOS PCs?

whm1974

Now I have heard of Commodore MS-DOS Compatibles before along with Atari doing the same, but it sounds really odd to do as both Companies own m68K platform were far better then MS-DOS Systems at the time. Not to mention at often lower prices as well.

I was just wondering if anyone had or used one of these? If I run either company at the time, I'm not sure I would bother since I had better platforms. The Amiga and ST for example.

Both companies wanted to try and take some of the business customers, businesses had already ignored CBM almost entirely and IBM PCs were the standard in businesses. It made sense for them to create IBM clones.

It didn't work for either of them though.

Well Hindsight like Mother Nature is a Bitch so it would have make more sense to fund or write business software themselves for their own platforms instead.
