What PSU do you have?

That 8pin is for the CPU then (generally marked EPS). GPU 8pin should be marked GPU or PCIE.

 

Depending on the model of the PSU (as asked above), it's might not support 8pin GPUs (too weak). Or if the cable did come with the PSU, but you have lost it, then you'd need to find a new one. Easier way would be the cable, but that might not always be very succesful, in which case you'd need new PSU.

I have that 8pin cpu power labelled eps and the gpu 8 pin power labelled pcie but the 8pin dont match to the socket on the rx570

Are you 100% sure about this? If the power cable is labelled as PCIe, it should work with your RX 570.

Im 100% positive I've check the 8pin many times before putting it on but it doesnt fit should I try using a 6pin to 8pin adapter or do I have to buy a new PSU instead
