GTX 1650 with GDDR6 ?? 馃

Dauntless69

I just found 2 cards of GTX 1650 of Asus

One has GDDR5 and other GDDR6 with latter being $15 more

Does the one has any significant advantage over other? And if it does, is it worth the 15 bucks extra?聽

the GDDR6 upgrade was a large uplift in performance, but the 1650 is still beaten by the RX 570 in performance. Beaten even more by the 1060 6GB you were considering in your last thread.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

The GDDR6 variant is a good bit faster, depending on the workload.

Whether that's worth the price difference, it's up to you.

I probably wouldn't consider getting a 1650, unless you're very limited by your PSU.

youll wanna be looking at a 1650 super unless your power supply doesnt have any pcie cables, in which case the 1650 gddr6 is the best available option. the rx570 and 1060 also require additional power cables just like the 1650 super. if youre fine with buying used the 1060 or an rx 580 are usually a good bit cheaper than a 1650 super while having more vram.
