Question about Steering Wheel compatibility

I currently own a Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel Xbox variant.
Since Windows supports Xbox controllers and the wheel technically uses Xbox controller commands I was wondering if I could just connect the wheel up and use it in games or if that is not possible.

Most Xbox wheels have PC compatibility (as Xboxs run Windows 10), there is at least a 95% chance that it will work.

I haven't bought any racing games for pc yet so i just wanted to check

Alright then, ill try it on forza apex or something and see if it works
