Broken Video Card PCB question

NoiD27

I have received a ZOTAC GTX 1070 Ti AMP with a *bent PCB from a friend.
Can anyone recommend me on what to do with this card?
Also, I haven't tried it if working or not. I am afraid that it might fry my system. Should I even try to see if it works?

from the picture I cant see anything being broken, as in no traces seems broken (SLI fingers be damned)

but you might want to inspect more before deciding to plug it in

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

It is not broken but it is bent like 10 degrees, I have edited the post.

Do you know what to inspect? I do not know a lot about these things..

that corner indicates that the card was probably dropped

while that corner may not contain any crucial traces, you might lose one or two display ports

but the die might be cracked from the shock of the drop, so you can try opening it up and visually inspect it

even if it doesnt look like anything is wrong, you might wanna use a throwaway system to test it first

Looking at a buildzoid video on the Zotac card, next critical piece of the card is after those SLI Fingers, so that section though damaged as Moonzy said the traces probably are still in tact.

But looking at the attached which is the 1080 PCB for Zotac it looks like that area of the board is for the 1080 which isnt used on your 1070 card.

This is why its not wired to any components. so its unlikely to cause any issues since there is nothing wired that could say its missing.
