Nice Strix stock boost.

even though it does not matter, ASUS just release spec on the asus site on their 3080...OC all thought it was 1740 as the non oc

1935mhz as committed boost, seems nice... ordered it at launch, but mostly just for 2xhdmi and the strix cooler, but nice to be sure about boostclock....

It really doesn't matter what it says in there. They will all use Boost 3.0 and boost to whatever they can highest. Some may not OC well and some might. So this gen is pretty much random and any card will be good enough tbf.

as stated... i also said it does not matter, but many FE cards have issues sustaining over 1850ish mhz, so it is nice to have some sort of "silicon" sorting, they must sort the non oc and oc versions, then selling the ones that faile the high boost as NON oc cards.. so i am fine with an OC version in the mail.

I hope to see some benchmarks soon, I'm interested in what the STRIX will do seeing how good the TUF like was.

I'll be also waiting for EVGA's upper cards and seeing how they stack up.

 

Competition is pretty tight, there are quite some noticable difference between the AIB´s and I love it, means better prices and options for us

Can you link me to info about them not being able to hit 1850?

seems that they have not been delivered yet, although they have informed me that mine is in the mail, even though it was said to be on stock today.

Mine is due 2. October. But its supposed to be in stock 1. November.

some of the custom cards so far have been worse than the FE, even though reviewers are writing it off as margin of error it is very consistent, so make sure u get solid benchmark on the strix first, of course it'll be fine with 3 8-pins.

I’ve preordered the 3080 Strix non OC version as I figured a) it boosts anyway and b) I’d just overclock it if I wanted to as from what I can tell the two cards other than the factory overclock are identical.....

 

have I made a mistake??
