Android APP and server to control PC

Hello, I was looking for an Android APP to work as a keyboard and mouse to control my PC, there are many in the Play Store and all require to install a server in order to work.

 

I don't like to install random software in my PC so I looking for recommendations to find a safe and functional program

it's not random if you know what it is and installed it yourself no?

 

i use teamviewer on my PC that doesnt have display or peripherals.

I can second TeamViewer, I’ve been using it for years at this point. I personally don’t use the app but I know a few people that do and regularly use the app on an iPad.

Does this need to work outside of your LAN or just inside?

 

If not, I'd just use the RD Client app. You don't need to install anything on your PC as it's a built in function, you'd just need to allow RDP and open port 3389 on Windows firewall. 

 

You can use it outside the network, but you'd need to set up external access to do that.

I try teamviewer but it just show 1 of my PC screens on my phone, I don´t want that. I looking to use my Andoid phone as a Mouse and keyboard sometimes

Because I use a VPN, remote desktop don´t work for me

My PC and my phone are in the same network (only to work "just inside")

Well... I dunno if it's available for Windows, but I would recommend KdeConnect. It's amazing - speaking from experience, currently using it - on Linux though, so I can't say how it is on Windows :thonk:
