My MSI b450m bazooka's ram slot was dmg the system runs a ryzen 3700X and a 2060 super. 

Should I get a b550 or X570 motherboard? 

Any suggestions on which board I should get? 

My dad uses the family pc a lot for his work.

I would suggest a b550 just for the value. I would go with a B550 Mortar or Mortar WiFi depending on what you need.

As your old motherboard was a micro atx. If you go with an atx board make sure it will work with the case you have.

if it was. 

budget for a board? 

if it wasn't damaged, the b450m bazooka should power a 3700x just fine, and you don't really need to upgrade it.

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

Using a CM NR400 so have to stick to matx.

The ram slot is dead so I have to replace it.
