How can I stop region based results on google search and YouTube vanced?

Lii

Hello as the title says

On google search, even by selecting another region from the "Region for Search results", I still get result from my current location

Analogue situation by going into the settings on YouTube vanced: settings/general/lacation -> settings something else like the us.. and when searching for a video.. I still get region based results, why?

You let it acces your devices location data. Remove the permission, (IDK how what are you on), and it will work.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Exactly, if that still wont work maybe invest in a VPN so you have more control over what region you look like to come from.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

You'll need to use a VPN. Google services use your IP range to determine your region.

Make sure to quote me or use @PorkishPig to notify me that you replied!

The location permission on the apps that I'm using is disabled..

Though I don't plan to get a vps, since I'm having this problem on my device recently..

EDIT: maybe I've found the issue, most of other searches are fine, but when I do search:

"rowenta series 60 explorer rr7427wh review"

I do get results from some random italian stuff

So maybe the product is restricted to only specific markets and by so I do get only results from those (?)
