What the problem is: BSOD Error (The 'MEMORY_MANAGEMENT" one to be specific).

What I have tried so far: Reinstalling Windows completely, using the "Windows Memory Diagnostic" tool to test my RAM, as well as the "MemTest86" tool which I wrote onto my USB drive, no errors were detected by either software, also did a full HDD scan via the BIOS which lasted like 4-5 hours, apparently no errors there either. I'd also like to mention a few more things: No malicious software had been downloaded prior to the BSOD error occurring, all drivers are up-to-date, no hardware alteration had taken place since the purchase of the laptop, yes my fans are working, the "Event Viewer" gave me jack-shit information regarding the malfunction. Also the BSOD error never popped up while gaming but rather when I was away from my PC or whilst performing basic stuff on Google such as watching YT, reading the news, etc.

Operating System: Windows 10 Professional

Computer Specifications: Intel i5 Quad Core Processor 8300H
NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 - 4GB DDR5 Memory
8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4 2666MHz SDRAM
2TB HDD (5400RPM)
I think that's all the relevant information you guys need.

Laptop Model: HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0035nm - 5QU51EA

Try using BlueScreenView from https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html for a more detailed view of the BSOD.

@PorkishPig Will do, much obliged. Will come back to you with the results as soon as my PC commits suicide again.

It should show you a history of all BSODs even prior to installing the application.

@PorkishPig Well the error had stopped popping up for some time hence why I didn't post any more replies thinking that I somehow fixed it by doing something... Until now. The BSOD error returned, but this time with a different error code, it being: "PFN_LIST_CORRUPT" - Previously it was the "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT" one. I'll attach the image of what information the BlueScreenView software manage to acquire from the recent crash. Hope someone could help out and explain what this error is and how I can resolve it...

This is likely an issue with your Windows installation. Try using following commands using administrative Command Prompt.

chkdsk c: /f /r
sfc /scannow

Ok so I've plucked the information acquired by the chkdsk command and put it in the txt. file below, hopefully you'll be able to determine the issue now using the information gathered. As for the sfc /scannow command, it returned with this "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations." Which is obviously good I'd say.

Anything else I should do if the txt. file didn't help? I honestly hope it did, I'd rather have this issue pinpointed rather that not knowing what it is to be frank. Thanks @PorkishPig!

It doesn't look like chkdsk found any relevant issues. You can try DISM, though it's unlikely to find anything if SFC returned nothing:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

In this case, you may want to consider reinstalling Windows if you haven't already.

Well as stated in my main post, I did re-install Windows, and I just ran the DISM - Tell me, do MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and PFN_LIST_CORRUPT have anything in common? Because I used to have problems with the first one (multiple times), and now with the latter (just once, 2 days ago). I don't know what else to do, I ran tests on all hardware and did all you told me to do...

When running tests on your HDD did you also run a full test with the BIOS-level System Diagnostics? If so, were any issues reported? Have you tried updating your BIOS?

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and PFN_LIST_CORRUPT can both be symptoms of a bad memory or bad drivers. You said that you've already updated your drivers, but did you install your graphics driver after using DDU? DDU is available at https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html.

Yes, no issues were reported. Though I did update my BIOS a day ago and it still came up with the PFN_LIST_CORRUPT sometime later, whilst I was playing Among Us, the information acquired by the BlueScreenView is the same as previously, so the error hasn't changed.

I'll try using DDU even though I haven't had a clue as to what it is until I just read your comment and opened the link. We'll see how it goes... Thanks for helping so far.

Let me list all that I've done so far:

- Reinstalled Windows 10!

- Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic as well as MemTest86!

- Ran extensive HDD test (lasted for 4-5 hours lol)!

- Scanned the PC for corrupt files!

- Swapped RAM sticks (didn't buy new ones, just swapped the slots)!

- Did the following commands in CMD: chkdsk 😄 ; /f /r sfc /scannow as well as DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth!

- Used BlueScreenView to pinpoint the problem, with no success, same goes for Event Viewer!

- Updated all the hardware!

- Updated the system BIOS!

Anyone else who might have an idea as to what I should do...?
